Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a genuine passion for cosmetic and aesthetic medicine and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing cosmetic procedures performed awake, and under general anesthesia.
- Assist surgeons during consultations and surgeries.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and their associated risks
- Educate patients and support them throughout their journey, including preoperative instructions, and aftercare instructions.
- Monitor patients for potential complications and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cosmetic surgery and nursing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Illinois nursing license (both RN and LPN licenses are considered).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in surgical nursing, preferably in cosmetic or plastic surgery settings.
- Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
